When held down for 3 seconds, GateGuard immediately alerts every contact the resident previously configured as an emergency contact in the app, plus the neighborhood guard. The alert includes the resident's geographic location at the moment it is triggered, so whoever receives it knows exactly where to go — no prior call needed.

With the SOS button in the GateGuard App, a single 3-second gesture triggers the full alert chain: your trusted contacts and the neighborhood guard receive the notification with your location at that moment. Does the alert include my exact location?

Yes. Along with the notification, your geographic location is sent at the moment the SOS button is triggered, so your contacts and the guard know where to go.

Who receives the alert besides my contacts?

In addition to the people you configured, the alert reaches the neighborhood guard, who can respond immediately from the gatehouse.

Can I trigger the SOS by accident?

The button requires holding it down for 3 continuous seconds; a brief tap does not trigger the alert, preventing accidental activations.
